Quiara Martin is a Southern-American artist, born and raised in High Point, North Carolina. Martin creates as a storyteller, utilizing the visual language of romanticism as a theatrical stage to direct surreal and functional art to express emotional experiences.

Martin’s work begins and ends with both concealment and narration of her perception of life. She paints portraits to convey personal influences by using the character’s interest, style, and emotional symbolism to translate something intensely private into a fantasy.

     Martin’s creative practice starts with a theme within her imaginative world called "Virgo Heaven", a romanticized world that is loosely based on the resemblance of modern life. She uses her connections with others to produce unique designs to capture the subject's essence and turn it into a whimsical story. Each design is usually inspired by the subject's interest and paired with the influence of historical European fashion, Western modernism, and technical designs that represent timelessness.
